Mumbai University has released the first merit list for the undergraduate courses on May 26, 2026. The students who registered for any course can access college-wise merit lists at muugadmission.samarth.edu.in . The merit list displays names of shortlisted candidates, application numbers, categories, and qualifying marks of all the shortlisted candidates.

The merit list covers undergraduate programmes, including BCom, BSc, BA, BMS, BAF, and BSc (IT) courses offered across university-affiliated colleges. Students who completed the application process by May 23, 2026 are eligible to appear in the merit list.

How to Check Mumbai University Merit List 2026? 

• Students can check the merit list by going to muugadmission.samarth.edu.in .
• Students should click on the "Merit List/Admission List" on the main webpage.
• Students should select their college and programme from the dropdown menu.
• They can download the merit list in PDF and search their name using the application number.
• Students would have to save the PDF for future reference during document verification and the counselling process.

Document Verification & Fee Payment Process

Students who get selected into any course at Mumbai University must report to their allocated college for the document verification process. The documents which will be required for the Document verification process are - 

• Class 10th and Class 12th mark sheets.
• Valid photo ID.
• Caste certificate for reservation benefits.
• Transfer certificate.
• Recent passport-sized photographs.

Document verification will be conducted from May 27 to May 29, 2026, till 3:00 PM. Students must pay admission fees online during this period of the document verification process. “Admission confirmation” is completed only after successful verification and fee payment.
