The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, the conducting authority for Punjab NEET UG Counselling, has issued a final and decisive notice for all candidates allotted seats in the Round 3 of MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2025-26 academic session. Today, November 4, 2025, marks the absolute last date for successful candidates to complete the critical admission formalities, including payment of the balance tuition fee and physical reporting to their respective allotted medical/dental colleges.

This deadline is extremely crucial as it signifies the final opportunity to secure a seat in the major allocation rounds for the 85% State Quota seats in Punjab. Aspirants must ensure all documentation and fee payments are completed well before the university's closing time today. For regular updates follow Only Education News.

Crucial Steps to Finalize Admission Today

Candidates who found their name in the Round 3 Final Allotment List, which was declared recently (with the final result expected on November 4, 2025, itself as per some revised schedules), must prioritize the following steps:

  1. Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the remaining balance of the tuition fee for the first year, after deducting the security deposit and any advance fee paid during the counselling process. This payment must be completed through the designated university payment gateway or as specified by the allotted college.
  2. Physical Reporting: Candidates must physically visit the allotted college/university with all their original documents for mandatory verification. This process confirms the authenticity of the candidate's claims regarding category, domicile, and academic eligibility.
  3. Submission of Documents: A complete set of self-attested copies and the original documents (including the Allotment Letter, NEET UG Scorecard, Domicile Certificate, and all academic certificates) must be submitted to the college.
  4. Joining Formalities: Signing the necessary institutional documents, including the Service Bond/Undertaking (if applicable), and obtaining the final admission receipt to confirm the seat.

The official schedule for the final reporting and joining against the Round 3 allotment is highly time-sensitive, with the window being November 4 to November 5, 2025, for the final list's reporting. Given that today is November 4, aspirants must treat this as the final opportunity.

Implications of Missing the November 4/5 Deadline

The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) maintains a strict policy regarding admission deadlines.

  • Seat Forfeiture: Any seat that remains unjoined or where the admission process is incomplete by the stipulated deadline will be automatically forfeited.
  • Security Deposit Loss: The security deposit paid during the registration process will be confiscated.
  • Ineligibility for Future Rounds: Candidates who do not report to their allotted seat will typically become ineligible to participate in the subsequent final state Stray Vacancy Round for the remaining seats.

With the All India Quota (AIQ) Stray Vacancy Round registration also commencing around November 4-5, this period is the most critical juncture for all medical aspirants in the country. Candidates in Punjab must conclude their State Counselling process today to avoid any administrative forfeiture of their seat.
