The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially released the seat allotment result for the Stray Vacancy Round of the Karnataka AYUSH UG 2025 Counselling. This final round, conducted for the remaining seats in undergraduate courses like BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (Homeopathy), and BUMS (Unani), marks the conclusion of the state's admission process for the academic year.

A total of 1,679 candidates have been declared qualified and provisionally allotted seats across various Government and Private AYUSH colleges in Karnataka. This result provides a last-minute opportunity for NEET-UG qualified aspirants who were unallotted in the previous three rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up).

Crucial Reporting Deadline: Today, November 17

Aspirants who have secured a seat in this final Stray Vacancy Round must note the extremely strict deadline for completing their admission formalities. As per the official KEA schedule, the last date for candidates to report to their respective allotted colleges with all original documents and fee receipts is November 17, 2025, by 5:30 PM.

Since today is the final reporting day, candidates must prioritize physical reporting. Failure to report to the allotted college before the specified deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of the seat, which will then remain permanently vacant.

Steps for Allotted Candidates

Candidates who find their names on the allotment list must immediately take the following steps:

  1. Download Allotment Details: Access the official KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in) to download the final seat allotment letter and the admission order.
  2. Fee Payment: Pay the remaining balance of the full tuition fee to KEA, if not already paid, to generate the admission order.
  3. Document Verification: Carry all required original documents (NEET scorecard, 10th & 12th marks sheets, Domicile/Category certificates, etc.) for physical verification at the allotted institution.
  4. Final Admission: Complete all institutional formalities and collect the final admission endorsement from the college authorities before the 5:30 PM deadline.

Eligibility and Competition Dynamics

The Stray Vacancy Round specifically targets seats that remained unfilled due to non-joining by candidates in earlier phases or those belonging to NRI/Management quotas. The competition remains high, considering the vast number of candidates who had participated in the option-entry process for this final chance.

Participation in this round mandated strict adherence to the "no prior seat" rule, meaning candidates who had already secured and joined an MBBS/BDS/AYUSH seat in any previous round were ineligible to participate. This ensures that the vacant seats are offered only to genuinely unallotted candidates. The allotment process follows the NEET-UG merit list, preferences filled, and the category-wise distribution of remaining seats across the BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS programs.

Aspirants who successfully gain admission through this final round can now look forward to commencing their course of study in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, or Unani medicine. For any last-minute circulars or advisories from KEA, follow Only Education News to stay updated.
