The first round of counselling along with admission will take place on July 24, 2026. Those who meet the requirements may submit an online application through dibru.ac.in up to July 10, 2026. Serving as Dibrugarh University’s engineering branch in Assam, DUIET operates under the university. It offers BTech and MTech courses spanning foundational and newer disciplines. The institution has prolonged the previously set application period for interested students. As a result, applicants holding GATE qualifications receive extra time to finish the submission. This counseling process includes every MTech stream available at DUIET. Applicants are required to possess a BE or BTech qualification with 60% marks. For admissions routed through GATE, an active GATE score is mandatory. Those without GATE may sit for a DUIET-conducted entrance exam.

1. Class 10 mark sheet along with the pass certificate.
2. Class 12 mark sheet along with the pass certificate.
3. All semester mark sheets for BE or BTech.
4. BE or BTech degree certificate or an interim/provisional certificate.
5. GATE scorecard valid for the present cycle.
6. Reservation-category certificate, for those applying through a quota.
7. Aadhaar card plus another government photo ID document.
8. Latest passport-size photos along with a completed application form.

What Takes Place on the Counseling Date?
