Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET) has issued an official announcement. The timeline for Master of Technology (MTech) intake for 2026-27 has been published. The first round of counselling along with admission will take place on July 24, 2026. Those who meet the requirements may submit an online application through dibru.ac.in up to July 10, 2026. Serving as Dibrugarh University’s engineering branch in Assam, DUIET operates under the university. It offers BTech and MTech courses spanning foundational and newer disciplines. The institution has prolonged the previously set application period for interested students. As a result, applicants holding GATE qualifications receive extra time to finish the submission. This counseling process includes every MTech stream available at DUIET. Applicants are required to possess a BE or BTech qualification with 60% marks. For admissions routed through GATE, an active GATE score is mandatory. Those without GATE may sit for a DUIET-conducted entrance exam.
