Delhi University (DU) has launched admissions for the 2026 one-year postgraduate (PG) intake. Eligible applicants can now sign up via pgportal.uod.ac.in. This option is restricted to DU’s own alumni from the four-year undergraduate track. Their studies must have been completed under the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022. UGCF 2022 is structured around the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Admission decisions will rely entirely on merit drawn from the four-year results. In addition, every programme will enforce its own course-wise eligibility conditions. For this admission round, DU has rolled out the one-year Master’s pathway. The approach fits the NEP 2020-linked four-year undergraduate model. Students graduating from institutions other than DU are not eligible for this pathway. DU has published complete information in its released Bulletin of Information.

Which Candidates Qualify for DU One Year PG 2026?

Applications are limited to DU candidates who have completed a four-year undergraduate course. The bachelor’s programme must follow UGCF 2022 that is aligned with NEP 2020. Beyond that, each postgraduate offering carries its own subject-related requirements. For precise conditions, applicants should consult the Bulletin of Information.

  • A four-year DU Bachelor’s (Honours) with Research under NEP.
  • A four-year DU Bachelor’s (Honours) with Entrepreneurship under NEP.
  • A four-year Bachelor’s degree that includes a Major in the matching discipline.

How Will Selection Be Done?

Seats will be offered strictly through merit. The merit list will be prepared using scores from the four-year bachelor’s programme. This pathway does not include any separate written entrance examination. Course-specific eligibility requirements will serve as an additional check after merit ranking. Final seat assignment will be processed via DU’s centralised admissions mechanism.
