Delhi University (DU) has released comprehensive directions for applicants set to take part in the Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) admission trials for 2026. The fitness-based rounds are expected to commence around July 15, 2026, and details will be available through the official admissions site at admission.uod.ac.in. The portal will display the schedule by category along with assigned venues, and candidates will not receive separate messages individually. These directions span ten ECA streams and specify distinct conditions for each one. Candidates are instructed to keep checking the admissions website frequently for changes related to dates, locations, and reporting slots. Applicants coming from outside the city are told to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.

Documents Required at the Trial Centre
Applicants must appear only at the venue assigned to their own ECA stream. At reporting, they are required to bring the items listed below.
- All ECA certificates submitted during sign-up, in original form.
- The CUET 2026 scorecard in original.
- A valid government-issued photo ID.
- Any required instruments, outfits, props, and stationery needed for the stream.
The university has stated that instruments, props, or other materials cannot be shared or borrowed at the site.
How Will the DU ECA Trials 2026 Be Assessed?
No formal syllabus has been set for these rounds. Evaluation will rely only on how skilled the candidate is in the selected ECA stream. A panel aligned with the relevant subject will assign the marks. The committee’s verdict on scoring and assessment will be conclusive and must be accepted. DU has also said it will not consider any complaints, and no participant will be offered another chance.
DU ECA Trials Marking and Weightage
Under DU’s ECA quota, admission considers both the CUET UG 2026 result and the trial score. Based on earlier practice at DU, CUET contributes 75 percent while the ECA trial adds 25 percent toward the final merit list. The final split for 2026 will depend on the university’s confirmed policy issued alongside the ECA merit list.
What Is Prohibited During the Trials?
The university has set firm behavioural requirements for the trial location. If these are broken, the application may be cancelled.
- Recording the trials in audio or video form is forbidden.
- Unapproved electronic gadgets, mobile data access, and AI tools are prohibited within the venue.
- In digital media, editing programs, filters, and AI-driven enhancement utilities are disallowed.
- After the announced date, no change of schedule will be approved, even for medical reasons.
