Today marks a pivotal moment for thousands of undergraduate aspirants as Delhi University (DU) officially declared the upgraded seat allocations for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2025. This crucial development affects all students who had opted for an upgrade in a previous round of admissions, including those aspiring for the prestigious B.A. LLB program. The release of these new allocations brings much-needed clarity to the final phase of the college admission process.
According to the official notification, the upgraded allocations along with auto-acceptance were released today, August 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Students who have been allotted a seat in a college of higher preference are required to accept their new allocation through their dashboard. The deadline for accepting the newly allocated seat is 4:59 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Following this, colleges will have until 11:59 PM on the same day to verify and approve the online applications. The final deadline for online fee payment for this round is 4:59 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
For a significant number of students who are yet to secure a seat, the university has also released the complete schedule for the highly-anticipated Spot Admission Round. This round is designed to fill the remaining vacant seats and is a final opportunity for aspirants to get into their desired course and college. The list of vacant seats will be displayed on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Students will be able to apply for this round through their dashboards from August 25 to August 27, 2025. It is imperative to remember that once a seat is allocated in the Spot Round, the admission is mandatory. Failure to accept will result in the forfeiture of their eligibility under the CSAS (UG) 2025, as there will be no further opportunities for admission.
This year's admission cycle has seen intense competition, and with the final rounds now set in motion, law aspirants and others are urged to stay vigilant and follow the official schedule meticulously. Students must keep all necessary documents ready for the verification process.
