The admission process for professional degree courses in Goa for the academic year 2026–2027 has started under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). A prospectus with all the necessary details about admission is available. Application forms can be submitted from May 11 to May 22, 2026, except on May 17 (Sunday).
DTE Goa is inviting applications for several professional degree courses, including MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.E., B.Pharm., BNYS, B.Arch., Allied Health Sciences, and B.Sc. Nursing. Admission will be based on merit through a centralized process. Each course category will have its own entrance examination.

Candidates must have passed the HSSC/Std. XII Examination from either the Goa Board or CBSE, securing the required percentage of marks in the relevant subjects. For MBBS, BDS & Allied Health Sciences, applicants should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and biology.
For SC/ST/OBC applicants, the minimum required is 40%.
For B.E. courses, candidates should have obtained 45% aggregate marks in physics, mathematics, and any other subject. Reserved category candidates need a minimum of 40% marks. For B.Pharm, the candidates should have scored 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology, while reserved category applicants should have a minimum of 40% marks.

Candidates can collect and submit application forms at any of the 10 designated application receiving centers across Goa.

The filled application forms must be accompanied by self-attested copies of all required documents. Applicants are also required to pay an application fee of Rs. 2,100, which can be made through various payment methods. The application fee can be paid via POS card or UPI at the application centers. A payment link is available on the official website of DTE, allowing candidates to make the payment online. Alternatively, applicants can also pay by visiting any HDFC Bank branch and depositing cash into Account No. 50200025323007. Another option is to submit a demand draft in favor of the Directorate of Technical Education.
Entrance Exam Requirements for Different Courses
Students applying for medical and dental courses, including MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences, B.V.Sc. & A.H., Nursing, and BNYS, must have a valid NEET UG 2026 score. Those applying for engineering courses need to have a valid JEE Main 2026 score. For pharmacy courses, applicants may use either JEE Main 2026 or NEET 2026 scores. Applicants for architecture courses must have a valid NATA score obtained from the Council of Architecture.
Documents Required for Filling the Application Form
The candidate must include self-attested copies of the mentioned documents along with their application form. These include the HSSC Mark Sheet, the result card from the entrance examination (NEET / JEE MAIN / NATA), the caste certificate, the income certificate for the EWS category, and recent passport-sized photographs not older than three months from the date of application. Original documents will need to be presented during the admission process for verification.
What Lies Ahead for the Students?
After completing the application process, DTE Goa will publish the eligibility lists on their website. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility status and report any errors to DTE Goa within 24 hours. Following this, the provisional merit lists will be released based on the scores obtained by eligible students in the entrance test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for admission counseling sessions where they can choose their preferred course based on their merit rank and seat availability.
