Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa has published the 2026 eligibility list. This list is for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and BTech admissions in Goa.

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa has published the 2026 eligibility list. This list is for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and BTech admissions in Goa. The list is now available on the official website at dte.goa.gov.in. Candidates who applied need to check their details by June 15, 2026. The provisional merit list will be published by June 18, 2026. Round 1 admissions will happen from June 22 to 26, 2026. These admissions will be done in person at DTE, Porvorim. Candidates must bring all original documents with them. The eligibility list is the first step in the counseling process. It is based on JEE Main 2026 scores that applicants submitted. The Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is not being held this year.

Who is eligible for DTE Goa BTech 2026 admissions?

Eligibility is open to those who applied through DTE this year. Applicants must have a valid JEE Main 2026 score. They must also meet the Goa domicile and category criteria. Their Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are considered. Only those whose names are on the eligibility list can take part in counseling. If a candidate's name is not on the list, they should go to DTE Porvorim before June 15.

Use these steps to access and check the list online:

  • Visit the official website at dte.goa.gov.in.
  • Click on the Admission tab on the home page.
  • Go to the Degree Admission Lists section.
  • Select the BE 2026 Engineering Eligibility List link.
  • Download the PDF and search for your application number.
  • Check your name, category, marks, and document status.

How to raise a correction in the eligibility list?

Candidates who find errors must act before June 15, 2026. Go to DTE Porvorim with a copy of your application form and supporting documents. Submit a written request with proof at the help desk. No corrections will be made after the deadline.

Documents Required for DTE Goa BTech 2026 Counseling

Bring the following original documents to Porvorim for Round 1:

  • JEE Main 2026 scorecard and rank letter
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
  • Class 12 passing certificate
  • Transfer or migration certificate from the previous school
  • Goa domicile certificate, if applicable
  • Category or caste certificate, if applicable
  • Aadhaar card and one government photo ID
  • Recent passport size photographs
  • Application fee payment receipt

What Happens in DTE Goa BTech 2026 Round 1 Admissions?

Round 1 takes place in person at DTE Porvorim. Candidates are called based on their merit number and category. The DTE team checks all original documents at the counter. Eligible candidates then select their seats from the available list. After selecting a seat, candidates have to pay the admission fee on the spot. A provisional admission letter is given before they leave. If documents are missing or they arrive late, their seat might be cancelled.
