In a significant update for medical aspirants in Gujarat, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has officially started the Round 1 allotment and reporting process for admissions to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) courses. This phase is crucial for all eligible candidates included in the merit list of ACPUGMEC for admission to Government, Management, and NRI seats.

According to the official announcement, candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the online payment of tuition fees by September 15, 2025. Following this, the physical reporting and original document submission at the designated Help Centres will take place from September 11, 2025, to September 16, 2025. Aspirants are advised to adhere strictly to this schedule to secure their admission.

The provisional seat matrix for Round 1 shows a total of 6,483 vacant seats across BAMS and BHMS courses. Of these, 2,850 seats are in Ayurvedic colleges and 3,633 seats are in Homeopathic colleges. This presents a great opportunity for students seeking to pursue a career in the field of Indian systems of medicine.

Aspirants are strongly encouraged to keep a close watch on the official DME Gujarat website for all the latest notices and a detailed schedule. For regular updates on medical admissions, follow Only Education News.
