The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has announced a crucial revised schedule for the State Quota NEET UG Mop-Up Round counselling for the academic year 2025. This round is vital for medical aspirants seeking admission to remaining MBBS and BDS seats across government and private institutions in the state.
The revision comes as part of the nationwide effort to consolidate the admission process and adhere to the final deadlines set by the National Medical Commission (NMC). This schedule, which the DME refers to as Round 1 of their internal process, outlines a compressed, multi-stage admission cycle concluding swiftly with admissions in mid-October.
Key Deadlines for State Quota Aspirants
Aspirants for the Chhattisgarh State Quota seats must pay close attention to the revised, immediate deadlines:
| S.NO | Stage | Dates |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Online Registration / Fee Payment | October 10 to 13, 2025 |
| 2 | Choice Filling / Locking | October 10 to 14, 2025 (till 2:00 PM) |
| 3 | Merit List Publication | October 14, 2025 |
| 4 | Seat Allotment Process & Result Publication | October 15, 2025 |
| 5 | Scrutiny and Admission Process (at the Institute) | October 16 to 18, 2025 |
The choice filling and locking window is the most critical immediate step, closing on October 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Candidates who successfully registered and paid the fee by the October 13 deadline must exercise their preferences meticulously, as the DME Chhattisgarh will publish the final merit list and seat allotment result shortly thereafter on October 14 and 15, respectively.
Post-Allotment Procedures
Following the result publication, successful candidates must be ready to complete their physical admission formalities, including document scrutiny and fee submission, within a tight three-day window from October 16 to October 18, 2025.
Candidates must be prepared with all required documents, including their NEET 2025 score card, domicile certificates, and academic records, to ensure a smooth and timely admission process at the allotted institute. It is important to note that this revised schedule is stated as tentative and subject to further changes by the authorities, but given the proximity to the NMC's final academic session dates, further significant extensions are unlikely.
