Key Counselling Process Details
1. Registration and Choice Filling
The registration window provides a four-day period for candidates to register online at the official DME Assam website using their NEET PG credentials. Following registration, the crucial Choice Filling window opens. Candidates must strategically rank their preferred colleges and specializations (MD/MS) from most preferred to least preferred.
2. Choice Locking
The Choice Locking is mandatory and will be open only for a specific time window on November 11, 2025. Candidates are strongly advised to lock their choices manually. If a candidate fails to lock their choices, the last saved options will be automatically locked by the system after the deadline (11:55 PM on November 11).
3. Seat Allotment and Joining
The seat allotment result will be published on November 15, 2025. Selected candidates must download their provisional allotment letter and complete the physical admission process—including document verification and fee payment—at their respective allotted institutions between November 19 and November 20, 2025. Failure to report within this two-day window will lead to the forfeiture of the seat.
Aspirants are encouraged to be highly vigilant regarding the deadlines, especially for choice locking, as any lapse can lead to missing out on a seat in the most sought-after medical specializations.
