This crucial update is for all eligible candidates seeking admission to vacant MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota. The new schedule provides a clear timeline for aspirants to complete their registration and choice filling processes, marking a pivotal moment in the admission cycle.

Key Dates for the Counselling Process

Aspirants should take note of the following important dates to ensure they do not miss any deadlines:

  • Online Registration and Fee Payment: The registration portal will be active from August 27, 2025, to August 29, 2025. This period is mandatory for all new candidates who did not register in the first round.
  • Online Choice Filling: The window for online choice filling, where candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses, will open from August 30, 2025, to September 1, 2025. Candidates who had previously registered in Round 1 do not need to register again but can participate in this choice-filling period.
  • Choice Locking: The option to lock choices will be available on September 1, 2025, at which point candidates must finalize their preferences.
  • Seat Allotment Result: The processing of seat allotments will occur from September 2 to September 4, with the final results being displayed on September 5, 2025.
  • Admission and Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates must report to their respective allotted institutions for admission and document scrutiny from September 9 to September 10, 2025.

Who is Eligible to Participate?

This second round of counselling is a valuable opportunity for candidates who are still without a seat. It is open to:

  • Candidates who qualified for NEET-UG-2025 and meet the specified eligibility criteria.
  • New candidates who have not yet registered for the counselling process.
  • Candidates who had registered in Round 1 but were not allotted any seat.
  • Candidates who had taken admission in Round 1 but are now eligible for upgradation in Round 2.

Aspirants are strongly advised to keep all their academic and identity documents ready, including their NEET-UG-2025 admit card and score card, for a seamless admission process.
