DEEET 2026 Exam Date Announced: Admit Card, Exam Pattern, and Counselling Details

The Directorate of Higher Education, under the Government of Tripura, has announced the date for the DEEET 2026 exam. This exam is conducted to help students get into diploma engineering programs in Tripura. The DEEET 2026 exam will have 100 questions in total, adding up to 400 marks. The exam is divided into three sections: Mathematics, which is worth 160 marks; Physical Science, also worth 160 marks; and English, which is worth 80 marks.

DEEET 2026 Important Dates

The DEEET 2026 exam will be held in an offline format using OMR sheets. Students must mark their answers only with a black or blue ballpoint pen. They are not allowed to bring mobile phones, calculators, or any other electronic devices into the exam hall.

Steps to Download the DEEET 2026 Admit Card

• To get the admit card, candidates should go to the official DEEET website, deeet.tripura.gov.in.
• They need to log in using their assigned login ID and password. 
• It's important to check important details on the admit card, such as the candidate's name, roll number, and other relevant information.
• Students must print a hard copy of the admit card and also carry valid ID proof like an Aadhaar card, PAN card, school ID, or passport.

Verification of DEEET 2026 Admit Card Details 

Before the exam, candidates should check their details on the admit card, such as their name, registration number, exam date, and test centre location. If there are any errors, they should immediately report them to the exam authorities through the official website. As the exam date approaches, students are advised to revise topics from Mathematics and Physics and practice mock tests under the same time limits. Since the exam lasts three hours with 100 questions, managing time effectively is very important.

What’s Next for Candidates?

The DEEET 2026 results are expected to be announced by the end of June 2026 on the official website.
Candidates can download their individual scorecards using their login details. A merit list will be prepared based on the scores, and the counseling process for admission into engineering diploma courses will start after the results are out. Eligible candidates will participate in the online counselling process starting from July 2026. During this process, they need to complete registration and select their preferred institutions and courses. After verification of documents and allocation of seats, the final admission to colleges will be done.
