It is important to note that the City Intimation Slip is not an admit card. It is merely a notice that gives advance information about the exam city and schedule. Candidates should only attend the dates and shifts that have been allocated to them. Any requests for changes after the allotment will not be considered. You do not need to bring the City Intimation Slip to the exam, as admit cards will be issued later

Steps for Downloading CUET UG City Intimation Slip 2026

Here are the simple steps students can follow to download their CUET UG city intimation. Slip 2026 online:

1. Visit the website cuet.nta.nic.in
2. Look for the link labeled "CUET UG Advance City Slip 2026" on the main page of the site.
3. Log in to your account by entering your application number, password, and captcha code.
4. Provide the necessary details to complete the login process.
5. Once logged in, the CUET UG City Intimation Slip 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
6. Download the intimation slip.

The CUET UG City Intimation Slip for the year 2026 includes details of the candidate along with examination information. It is important for the candidate to verify these details after downloading the slip.

The slip contains information such as the application number, candidate's name, father's name, gender, date of birth, category, whether the candidate is PwD or not, and if a scribe is required (if applicable). Additionally, the slip provides other important examination details like the allotted exam city, the state where the exam will be held, the exam dates for each subject, the shifts, and the subject and medium opted by the candidate during registration. 

 Allotment of Cities for Examination and Travel Arrangements

The cities where the CUET UG examinations will be held are assigned based on the candidates' permanent or current address provided during registration, as well as the cities they selected in their preference list. During the registration process, candidates were allowed to choose up to four cities for the examination. 

Once the city allotment process is finalized, NTA will not consider any further requests from candidates to change their assigned examination city. It is advised that candidates plan their travel and accommodation at the examination venue using the city intimation slip they receive. They should book their transportation, such as train, bus, or flight tickets, well in advance of their examination date.

Next Steps for Candidates

If a candidate's live photo does not match the one on their Aadhaar card during application submission, they must bring original certificates with signatures or attestation from the principal, headmaster, or a Class I gazetted officer, such as a tehsildar, revenue officer, SDM, or district magistrate.

For NRI candidates, these certificates must be issued by a Class I gazetted officer at the Indian Embassy. Candidates should carry these certificates and present them for physical verification at the exam center on the day of the exam.
