Qualifying Marks for CSEET

The ICSI sets the qualifying rules for the CSEET. Candidates need to get at least 40% in each paper and a minimum of 50% overall. Only those meeting both criteria will be considered successful.

The CSEET has four subjects:

• Business Communication
• Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
• Economic and Business Environment
• Current Affairs

Each subject has equal importance in calculating the total score.

What to Check on the Scorecard

Candidates should thoroughly check all the information on the e-Result-cum-Marks Statement. If there are any errors, they should inform ICSI immediately. Important details to verify include:

1. Full name and roll number
2. Application number and date of birth
3. Section-wise scores and total marks
4. Result date and whether the candidate has qualified
5. The validity period of the scorecard

What Happens After the CSEET Result

Those who qualify can apply for the CS Executive Programme within the given time frame. ICSI usually opens the registration link right after the result is published. The CS Executive Programme is the next level in the company secretary course. If a candidate does not qualify, they can try again in a future session. ICSI holds the CSEET multiple times a year, so candidates can attempt it again. A new registration is needed for each attempt.
