CPGET 2025: M.Ed. & M.P.Ed. Aspirants Await Seat Allotment Following Option Entry Closure

The admission process for the M.Ed. (Master of Education) and M.P.Ed. (Master of Physical Education) courses under the Telangana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TG CPGET) 2025 is currently in its final critical stages. With the registration and online certificate verification window having closed on November 11, 2025, and the subsequent Web Option entry period concluding, thousands of qualified aspirants are now eagerly awaiting the announcement of their provisional seat allotments.

The counselling for these education stream programs, conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TGCHE, is structured meticulously to ensure a fair allocation of seats across the participating universities and their affiliated colleges in Telangana. This process follows a sequence of key events that candidates must track diligently to secure their admission.

First Phase Admissions: A Quick Timeline Review

The first phase of the CPGET 2025 admissions for M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. has followed a tight schedule:

The Provisional Seat Allotment List for the first phase was published on November 16, 2025. Candidates who were successfully allotted a seat had a limited window to complete the mandatory admission formalities, including fee payment and physical reporting to their assigned institution, on or before November 18, 2025.

Next Steps: Focus on Subsequent Phases

Since the first phase of reporting has concluded, attention now shifts to the possibilities of a Second Phase of Counselling. This phase is highly anticipated by candidates who:

• Did not secure an allotment in the first phase.
• Secured a seat but were dissatisfied with the allotted college and chose to forfeit the seat in hopes of a better option.
• Registered but failed to exercise web options in the initial phase.

The second phase, if announced, will aim to fill any remaining vacancies across the M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. programs. Aspirants should continuously monitor the official CPGET counselling portal (cpget.ouadmissions.com) for the official notification and schedule for the second and subsequent rounds. This will typically involve a short registration window, followed by fresh web option entry and a new allotment list.
