The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has started the mock round for choice filling in the COMEDK UGET 2026 counseling. Candidates who are eligible can now go to the official website, https://www.comedk.org, and enter their preferred colleges and engineering branches for the mock seat allocation process. As per the official schedule, the mock choice-filling process began on July 11, 2026, and will be open until 4 PM on July 13, 2026. Only those whose documents have been verified and whose application status is marked as "Approved" are eligible to take part in this stage of the counseling. The mock choice filling is meant to help students understand how the seat allocation works and to evaluate their chances of admission based on their preferences and ranks. This mock allotment is just an example and allows students to make changes to their choices before the actual seat allocation rounds start.

How to Fill COMEDK 2026 Web Options
- Go to the official COMEDK website.
- Log in with your registered user ID and password.
- Access the choice-filling portal.
- Choose your preferred colleges and engineering programs in the order you want.
- You can add, change, or remove choices as needed.
- Save your preferences and check the final list.
- Submit and lock your choices before the deadline.
COMEDK has told candidates to plan their preference list carefully before starting the process.
There is no limit on the number of choices you can enter, and you can change your preferences multiple times during the choice filling period. However, only the choices saved before the deadline will be considered for the mock allotment. The counseling authority has also warned students not to wait until the last minute to submit their choices, as there might be technical problems that stop them from completing the process on time. Those who don’t complete the choice filling in Round 1 will not be considered for the next rounds of COMEDK counseling. Therefore, students are advised to take part in the mock round, look at the sample allotment results, and make informed changes to their preference order before the final rounds of seat allocation begin.
