How Can I Check the Provisional Answer Key?

To check the COMEDK 2026 provisional answer key, candidates need to log in to their account on the official website, which is comedk.org. For this, they must enter their application number and password. This will take them to the candidate login section. Once logged in, they will find an option to download the answer key along with the response sheet. The answer key will show all the questions, which include 180 questions from physics, chemistry, and mathematics, along with the correct answers. Candidates should compare their answers with the ones provided in the answer key. If there is any difference, they can raise an objection during the given objection period.

Procedure for Submitting Objections

Any candidate who wants to challenge any answer in the COMEDK UGET 2026 provisional answer key can apply between May 16 and May 18, 2026. The process for submitting objections will take place online through the candidates' portal. Each objection will require a fee of ₹500, which can be paid through an online payment gateway. When submitting objections, candidates are required to provide detailed reasons explaining why they believe a particular answer is incorrect.

In addition, candidates must support their objections with proper evidence, such as textbooks, study materials, or logical explanations. The COMEDK academic committee will review all objections and decide whether they are valid or not. Candidates who submit more than one objection will need to pay ₹500 for each one. If a candidate submits five objections, the total fee will be ₹2,500. The objection fee will only be refunded if the objection is accepted by the COMEDK academic committee.

Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

COMEDK UGET 2026 was conducted following a specific pattern to evaluate students' skills in engineering. The exam included three subjects: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Students had to answer 60 questions in each subject, making a total of 180 questions. Each correct answer was worth 1 mark, and there was no penalty for incorrect answers. Therefore, the maximum score possible was 180 marks. The exam was taken in a computer-based format, and only English was available as the language for the test. Candidates were given 3 hours or 180 minutes to complete the exam. The question paper was based on the CBSE syllabus, with 33% of the questions coming from Class 11 and 67% from Class 12.

List of Colleges & Programs Offered

Students who passed COMEDK UGET 2026 were eligible for admission into over 150 participating institutions that offer B.Tech and B.E. programs. The exam provided access to 20,000 engineering seats across these colleges. Admission was based on the candidate's COMEDK rank, along with their preferences and the availability of seats.

Result Announcement and Future Plans

The results of COMEDK 2026 will be announced on May 29, 2026, at 4:00 pm. Candidates can download their rank card and scorecard from their login page. No physical copies of these documents will be sent separately. The rank card will show the marks obtained by the candidate, their rank, and percentile. Once the results are out, COMEDK will release the schedule for counseling as part of the centralized admission process.

Important Tips for Candidates

Candidates should check the official website regularly for updates about the answer key, objections, results, and counseling process. They should download and keep a copy of the answer key and response sheet for future use. It is also important to have all required documents ready for counseling, such as the rank card, qualifying exam mark sheet, and other necessary papers.
