In a major update for medical and dental aspirants in Chhattisgarh, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has published the provisional seat allotment list for the first round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. The list, which was released on August 14, 2025, includes the names of candidates provisionally allotted to MBBS and BDS courses in both government and private colleges within the state.

Following the publication of the allotment list, the DME has issued a clear schedule for the subsequent admission process. Aspirants who have secured a seat in this round must now proceed with the physical scrutiny of their documents and admission formalities. The window for this crucial step is from August 18, 2025, to August 23, 2025. It is imperative for all candidates to complete this process within the stipulated time to confirm their admission.

A total of 1988 candidates have been allotted seats in this round. The allotment list provides key details such as the candidate's name, NEET roll number, NEET overall rank, allotted institute, and course.

For candidates allotted to government medical colleges and government dental colleges, the scrutiny and admission process will be conducted at the respective allotted institutes. For those allotted to private medical colleges, the scrutiny and admission process will take place at designated government institutions.

 

What to Do After Seat Allotment

  1. Download Allotment Letter: Candidates must first download their provisional seat allotment letter from the official DME Chhattisgarh website.
  2. Document Verification: Prepare all required documents for physical scrutiny. This includes NEET Admit Card and Scorecard, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and other personal identification proofs.
  3. Report to the College: Report to the designated scrutiny center or the allotted college within the specified dates to complete the document verification and admission process.
  4. Pay Admission Fees: After successful verification, pay the required admission and tuition fees to secure the seat.

Aspirants who were not allotted a seat in this round can participate in the next rounds of counselling. The schedule for Round 2 is expected to be announced by the DME soon.
