CG Vyapam Postpones PAT/PVPT 2026 Exam; New Date Announced

An official notice dated 18th May 2026 was released by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, also known as CG Vyapam, about changing the date of the PAT/PVPT 2026 entrance exam. The original date for the PAT 2026 exam was 21st June 2026, but it has now been moved to Sunday, 28th June 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM. This change was made to help students who have to take both the NEET 2026 re-exam and the CG PAT/PVPT 2026 exam.

The National Testing Agency has scheduled the NEET 2026 re-exam for 21st June 2026, so adjusting the CG PAT/PVPT date ensures there is no conflict between the two exams. The CG PAT/PVPT 2026 exam is for admissions into agricultural and allied science courses. Students who want to join programs like B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, and B.Tech. Dairy Technology can apply through this exam.

Programs Covered Under CG PAT 2026

The CG PAT/PVPT entrance test 2026 is held for admissions into various agricultural and allied science programmes. These include BSc Honours in Agriculture, BSc Honours in Horticulture, BSc Honours in Forestry, and B.Tech Dairy Technology. The exam tests the knowledge and skills of applicants in subjects like agriculture, horticulture, forestry, dairy technology, and other related fields. Those who qualify will be eligible for admission into these courses at different colleges in Chhattisgarh through this exam.

The entrance exam was postponed from June 21, 2026, to June 28, 2026. This change gives applicants more time to prepare without facing a conflict with the NEET 2026 re-test, which was originally scheduled for the same earlier date. Since many students take both exams, the new dates allow them to appear in both exams without any issues.
