CEPT University has started the second round of postgraduate admissions for the 2026 academic year. Those interested in applying can do so through the website admissions.cept.ac.in until June 21, 2026. The university is accepting applications for 13 master's programmes across all five of its faculties. The second round of postgraduate admissions at CEPT University includes various programmes from different fields offered by the university's five faculties. Students from different academic backgrounds can apply based on their field of study and interests. The application process will be conducted entirely online.

CEPT University PG Admission 2026 Round 2 Important Dates

To be eligible for admission into the CEPT PG Admission 2026 programs, a candidate must have a degree from a well-known university. Those interested in pursuing the M.Arch program must have completed a B.Arch degree with a minimum of 50% marks overall. Candidates from reserved categories need to score at least 45% in their qualifying exam. For candidates applying to M.A programs, they should hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Interior Design, Urban Design, Building Design, Planning, or Building/Interior Design from B. Tech, B. ID, B. UD, B. Plan, B. Des, or B.Sc. 

They must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Reserved category students are required to achieve a minimum of 45% marks. Foreign nationals need to have their academic qualifications approved by the CEPT equivalence committee. Sponsored candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 2 years spent in the sponsoring organisation. 

Application Process for CEPT PG Admissions 2026

Students need to apply via the CEPT admissions portal using their email address. After completing the registration, they can then fill out the online application form for their chosen course. The whole application process must be done through admissions.cept.ac.in; offline applications are not accepted. Make sure all required documents are uploaded before June 21, 2026. Any application submitted after this date will not be considered. Students must include attested copies of their degree certificates and semester-wise mark sheets. They also need to attach their CV along with reference letters. 

These reference letters should be provided by people who know the candidate well. Additionally, students have to upload a portfolio of their best work in A4 landscape format. The portfolio should contain up to 10 pages, with a file size between 20MB and a resolution of 150dpi. The portfolio should showcase both academic and professional achievements of the applicant. Sponsored candidates must provide proof of employment and a work experience certificate. International students are required to submit GRE scores from the past two years or results from the CEPT PG test. 

CEPT PG Exam and Evaluation Procedure

The online CEPT PG Exam will take place on June 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Indian students who haven't taken the GATE exam will need to appear for this exam. However, students who have achieved GATE scores above the set cut-off will be exempt from taking the test. The application of each candidate will be reviewed by an expert panel, taking into account various factors like the candidate's CV, professional experience, recommendation letters, portfolio, test scores, and their performance in the online interview. Those selected will be invited for the online interview. The final merit list will be prepared after assessing all these factors.

What’s Next for Students?

After finishing the application process, candidates will receive an email with their application reference number. Those who are selected will be informed about the online CEPT PG Test, which will take place on June 27, 2026. Once the test, interview, and document review are done, the university will announce the list of successful candidates. This will be followed by counseling sessions and the final admission process. Students who are offered admission are required to pay the necessary fees before the set deadline. 

However, if there are still spots available, the university may admit students from the waiting list.
