The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has provided a critical update for all medical and dental aspirants participating in the NEET 2025 counselling. In a move to align with the revised schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), CENTAC has extended the deadlines for Round 2 registration and the withdrawal of seats from Round 1.

New Dates for Aspirants

Candidates who are yet to register for Round 2 counselling now have more time to complete the process. The last date for online registration and the submission of course preferences has been extended to September 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM. This extension provides a much-needed window for students to finalize their choices.

Simultaneously, aspirants who were allotted a seat in Round 1 and wish to withdraw from it can now do so without paying a forfeiture fee. The deadline for submitting a Resignation Request Letter through the candidate's login dashboard has also been extended to September 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Crucial Information for Candidates

This extension is a significant opportunity for students to re-evaluate their options and make informed decisions. It is crucial for candidates to use this extra time to carefully consider their college and course preferences before the final deadline. All registered aspirants are advised to regularly check the official CENTAC website for any further announcements. For regular updates, follow Only Education News.
