CENTAC Extends Application Window for PG Medical Admissions 2025

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), responsible for PG medical admissions in Puducherry, has announced a crucial extension to the deadline for submitting online applications for PG Medical (MD/MS) courses for the 2025 academic session. This move provides a final opportunity for NEET PG 2025 qualified candidates to apply for seats under the state quota.

As per the official notice issued by CENTAC today, the last date for online application submission has been extended till Friday, November 21, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. Aspirants must treat this deadline as absolute, as CENTAC has clearly indicated that no further extensions are anticipated after this final cutoff.

Eligibility and Application Process

The application process is entirely online, and all candidates seeking admission to PG Medical courses in Puducherry, including those applying for Management Quota seats, must register on the official CENTAC website.

Key Stages of Online Application:

1. Registration: First-time users must register on the portal using their details.
2. Application Filling: Complete all necessary personal and academic information.
3. Course Preference: Fill in the preference order for various medical college courses. This must be completed and submitted before the November 21st deadline.

Relief for Awaiting Certificates:

In a notable move to aid applicants, CENTAC has provided a temporary provision for those who are currently awaiting renewed certificates (such as updated community or income certificates). Such candidates are permitted to upload their old or expired certificates to complete the application process before the deadline.

However, aspirants utilizing this temporary arrangement must ensure that they submit the renewed, valid certificates before the publication of the official merit list. Failure to submit the renewed documentation by that subsequent deadline will likely lead to complications during the allotment process.

Crucial Documents Checklist

Candidates must have scanned copies of the following self-attested documents ready for upload to ensure a smooth application process:

• Proof of Birth (e.g., Birth Certificate, 10th Std Marksheet).
• UG Degree/Provisional Certificate and Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) Certificate.
• NEET PG - 2025 Score Card.
• Transfer Certificate from the institute last studied.
• Residence/Community Certificate (Note the requirement for renewed certificates before the Merit List).
• Affidavit (duly attested by a Notary) stating the candidate is not claiming Dual Nationality (for OCI candidates).

Aspirants are reminded that while scanned copies are accepted for the application, the original certificates must be produced in person only at the time of admission to the respective colleges.

This final application window is vital for securing one of the available seats in the region. Aspirants must utilize the time remaining today and tomorrow morning to meticulously check their forms, verify all documents, and submit their applications before the 5:00 P.M. deadline on November 21st.
