CCMN 2026 Special Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Out at ccmn.admissions.nic.in; Check Last Date for Document Verification

If you've been waiting on your CCMN 2026 Special Round 2 result, the wait's over — it's out now, and you can check it straight away at ccmn.admissions.nic.in. Just log in with your credentials and you'll see exactly where you stand.

Got a seat? Don't sit on it. There's a deadline coming up fast — you'll need to finish document verification and pay the partial admission fee online by July 29, 2026, 5:30 PM. Miss it, and that seat isn't yours anymore; it just goes back into the pool for someone else.

Quick refresher if you're new to all this: CCMN is basically the one common process that gets students into M.Sc. and M.Sc. (Tech.) programs at NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and a bunch of other CFTIs. Where you land depends entirely on your IIT JAM 2026 score.

CCMN 2026 Special Round 2: Key Dates

This is the last stop in the CCMN 2026 counselling cycle, meant to fill whatever seats are still vacant after the earlier rounds and the first special round.

How to Check Your Seat Allotment Status

1. Go to the official CCMN portal at ccmn.admissions.nic.in.
2. Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
3. Sign in using your application number and password.
4. Open the Special Round 2 seat allotment section.
5. Check your allotted institute and program on screen.
6. Download and save the allotment letter for your records.

How to Complete Document Verification and Pay the Fee

If you're accepting the seat you've been allotted, this is the step that locks it in before you head for final reporting.

1. Log in to the CCMN applicant portal with your registered credentials.
2. Select the willingness option to accept the allotted seat.
3. Upload scanned copies of your documents in the correct format.
4. Pay the partial admission fee via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
5. Submit the form and download your confirmation slip for records.

Documents You'll Need

Have these ready in scanned form before you start:

• IIT JAM 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Qualifying degree mark sheets and provisional certificate
• Category certificate, if applicable
• PwD certificate, if applicable
• Valid photo identity proof
• Recent passport-size photograph and signature

Thinking of Withdrawing Instead?

If you'd rather not go ahead with the seat you've been allotted, there's a withdrawal option too — and it's open on the same timeline, till July 29, 2026, 5:30 PM, on the CCMN portal.

Candidates who choose to withdraw will get a refund as per the CCMN 2026 refund policy laid out in the information brochure. Do keep in mind that withdrawing takes you out of the counselling process entirely.

Why This Round Matters

There's no cushion here — Special Round 2 is genuinely the last round in the CCMN 2026 cycle. Once it closes, that's it, so candidates really do need to act before July 29.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to ccmn.admissions.nic.in and check your Special Round 2 allotment status.
2. Decide whether to accept the seat or go for the withdrawal option.
3. Keep all your scanned documents ready in the right size and format.
4. Complete document verification before July 29, 2026, 5:30 PM.
5. Pay the partial admission fee online and save the receipt.
