CBSE has not yet released the tentative Date Sheet 2027 for Class 10 and 12 board exams. The board is expected to publish it on cbse.gov.in soon, with the final date sheet following in October. Board exams themselves are set for February–March 2027, and CBSE has confirmed there's no change to the assessment scheme or passing criteria this cycle.
Roughly 45 lakh students across India and abroad are expected to appear for the 2027 board exams, conducted in pen-and-paper mode. Last year's cycle offers a useful benchmark: CBSE released the tentative Class 10/12 date sheet for 2026 board exams on September 24, 2025, followed by the final version on October 30, 2025 — so this year's tentative release is expected around the same window.
