CBSE Date Sheet 2027 for Class 10, 12 Yet to Be Released; Board Exams Expected From February
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet released the tentative date sheet for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, and it has not announced a release date. The timetable will be published as a PDF on cbse.gov.in. Media reports expected the tentative schedule in late September 2026 and the final exam dates between October and November 2026, but neither is official.
How Last Year's Schedule Unfolded
For the 2026 exams, CBSE released a tentative date sheet on 24 September 2025, followed by the final Class 10 and 12 date sheet on 30 October 2025. A revised schedule followed on 30 December 2025. CBSE said the tentative dates were subject to change, with final date sheets issued after schools submitted their final candidate lists.

What CBSE Has Confirmed
The board has said the question paper design, assessment pattern and passing criteria remain unchanged for the 2026-27 session. Sample papers with marking schemes are available on the board's website, and the List of Candidates (LOC) submission process for the 2026-27 session has started.

- Go to cbse.gov.in.
- On the homepage, look for the PDF link titled "CBSE Class X and XII tentative date sheet 2027".
- Open the link to view the schedule.
- Download and save the PDF.
Students should not treat date sheets circulating on WhatsApp, Telegram, YouTube or unofficial websites as final.
Class 10 and Class 12 Exam Pattern
The Class 10 second board exam is expected in May, with results in July. Class 12 students continue with a single annual board exam.
