The results of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination have been released on May 13. The result was declared on 13th May and further details were announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The Central Board of Secondary Education provided the pass percentage as 85.20%. The fact that almost 85 of 100 students cleared the exam is a victory of the process or framework on which the Central Board functions.
Since the Central Board is quite widespread in the nation, it’s not a big news that more than 18 lakh students appeared for the examinations. More than 94000 students received more than 90% marks in the exam. It’s also quite motivating that more than 17000 students have scored marks above 95%.
Women empowerment in the nation can also be seen as an outcome of a process through which girls have performed far better than boys this year. Although there is not much news as girls have been performing better than boys for the last few years. To view this in numbers, 88.86% of girls cleared the exam while 82.13% of boys cleared the exam.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has not released the list of toppers or the merit list. The board has been doing this for years to remove any kind of unhealthy competition.
The students can view their results through various mediums. Bringing everyone on a single website brought too much traffic on a single platform. To release this high traffic, students have been updated about various mediums. They can review their results on the UMANG App or the DigiLocker.
If we go by the regions then Trivandrum has the highest pass percentage of 95.62%. After Trivandrum, Chennai had the pass percentage of 93.84% while Bengaluru received the pass percentage of 93.19%.If we move to other side of the spectrum, then Prayagraj scored the pass percentage of 72.43%
