The results of the Class 12th Board exam of the Central Board of Secondary Education might be released today on 12th May. The date has not been declared officially by the Central Board but results of the last few years show a pattern in which the result is usually declared in the third week of May. Few sources also depict that the result would be declared before the third week of May.
The Board exams were conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education from 17th February till 10th April. The schools held pre-board examination in the month of January. The last Board Exam was concluded not in Science stream but Humanities. The last examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was Legal Studies. A large number of students who prepare for the CLAT examination are quite interested in subjects like Legal Studies.
All the Board examinations are held in a single slot. The slot of three hours exam started at 10:30 AM. Although everyone knows that the result will be announced in May, the Central Board of Secondary Education has not provided the date and time of the announcement of the result.
When the results get announced by the Board in an official manner, all the students can view and confirm their marks by entering their roll number, Date of Birth and the school number.
There is a major reform made by the Central Board of Secondary Education this year. The Board has introduced an on-screen marking (OSM) system for marking of the answer sheets. Class 12th Board Examination Answer Sheets weren’t evaluated through Board’s traditional manner but were evaluated through On-Screen Marking System.
When the answer sheets are evaluated in a traditional fashion, they are marked by people. Technological Approach was not used in the evaluation this year.
The On Screen Marking will allow the system to remove any discrepancies made by the examiner. Evaluation of Class 12th answer sheets in a digital manner will make student coming to Class 12th a hope to have faith in the system.
The Class 10th Answer sheets were evaluated in the traditional fashion. Probably, we might see the On-screen marking system in the next few years.
