CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 LIVE: Phase 2 Scores Expected Soon at cbse.gov.in, Here's How to Check

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to declare the Class 10 Phase 2 (Second Board Exam) results for the 2025-26 academic session soon. Once released, students who appeared for the second phase of the board examination will be able to check and download their marksheets through the official CBSE websites — cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in — along with the DigiLocker and UMANG platforms.

The CBSE introduced the two-phase board exam structure for Class 10 students this academic year, allowing candidates to appear for exams in two sessions and choose the better of the two scores, or a combination as per board norms, for their final result. The Phase 2 exams were conducted after the Phase 1 cycle, covering the remaining portion of the syllabus for students who opted to appear again to improve their performance or complete their assessment.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 Phase 2 Result 2026 Online

Once the result is officially announced, students can follow these steps to access their scorecards:

1. Visit the official CBSE results website — cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.
2. Click on the link that reads "CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026."
3. Enter the required login credentials, such as roll number, admit card ID, date of birth, and school number.
4. Submit the details and the result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download and save the marksheet, and take a printout for future reference.

Students can also access their results through the DigiLocker app and the UMANG app, which have become increasingly popular modes of retrieving digital academic documents. Both platforms allow students to securely store and share their marksheets digitally, reducing dependence on physical copies during the initial result window.

Details Mentioned on the CBSE Class 10 Second Board Marksheet

The provisional marksheet issued online typically includes information such as the student's name, roll number, school code, subject-wise marks obtained, and the overall result status. Students are advised to verify all details carefully once the marksheet is downloaded. In case of any discrepancy in personal details or marks, students should contact their respective schools or the CBSE regional office for correction at the earliest.

It is important to note that the online marksheet is provisional in nature. The original marksheet and passing certificate are issued later through respective schools and remain the final valid documents for admission and record purposes.

Toppers and Performance Trends

As with previous years, CBSE is expected to release performance data along with the result, although the board has in recent years refrained from officially declaring an all-India merit list or naming toppers, focusing instead on providing subject-wise and school-wise performance analysis.

Students and parents are advised to keep checking the official CBSE websites for the latest updates regarding the exact date and time of the Phase 2 result declaration, as the board is likely to make an official announcement shortly. Given the high volume of traffic expected on the result day, students may also consider keeping their roll number and admit card details handy in advance to avoid last-minute hassle while checking scores.
