IIM Bodh Gaya, the coordinating institute for CAP 2026, has officially released the city-wise personal interview schedule for 10 participating IIMs. The interviews are set to begin on February 23, 2026, and will continue through late March across various major cities including Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi-NCR. Candidates must finalize their slot booking by the February 3 deadline to confirm their participation in this common admission process. The Common Admission Process (CAP) 2026, coordinated this year by IIM Bodh Gaya, has reached a vital milestone with the release of the city-wise personal interview (PI) schedule. Today, February 5, 2026, candidates who cleared the CAT 2025 cutoffs are accessing the portal to confirm their allotted slots. This centralized system enables a single interview to serve as the qualifying round for 10 "New" and "Baby" IIMs, significantly reducing the burden of multiple travels for MBA aspirants.

The PI rounds are scheduled to commence on February 23, 2026, starting with major metropolitan hubs. To ensure efficient processing, the committee has allocated specific date ranges for each city. While the majority of interviews are conducted in an offline format to facilitate better interaction, the portal provides a clear guideline for candidates to select their preferred location based on remaining availability.

Early Hubs: Mumbai and Hyderabad will host the first set of interviews from February 23 to February 27.
March Schedule: Cities like Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR have extensive slots stretching through mid-March.
Final Rounds: IIM Bodh Gaya, Jammu, and Sirmaur will conduct the final sets of interviews toward the end of March 2026.

Interview City	Date Range (2026)	Coordination Center
Mumbai / Hyderabad	Feb 23 – Feb 27	IIM Bodh Gaya
Bengaluru / Delhi	Mar 02 – Mar 14	IIM Bodh Gaya
Kolkata / Jammu	Mar 02 – Mar 14	IIM Jammu

Registration and Slot Booking Protocols

The window for PI slot booking and registration officially closed on February 3, 2026. Candidates were required to pay a registration fee and upload their academic credentials for verification. The burden of proof lies with the applicant to ensure that their category certificates (OBC-NCL, EWS) are valid and issued after April 1, 2025. Following the guideline set by the coordinating institute, any discrepancy in documents found during the interview phase could lead to immediate disqualification.

Score Validity: The normalized PI score will be shared with all 10 participating IIMs for the final merit list.
Rescheduling: In rare cases of clashes with other major entrance tests, candidates can request a date change via the helpdesk.
Weightage: The personal interview typically carries a 25% to 30% weightage in the final admission score, making it a high-stakes round.

Conclusion

With the schedule now finalized, candidates are entering the most decisive phase of the IIM admission cycle.
