BITS Pilani has extended the BITSAT 2026 Session 2 registration deadline to May 5, 2026. Originally set to close on May 2, this extension gives engineering aspirants a final window to complete their applications. No late fee has been charged for this extension, making it a straightforward opportunity for students who missed the earlier deadline.
Applications are accepted exclusively online at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for BITSAT 2026, candidates must have cleared Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Additionally, at least 60% marks are required individually in each of these three subjects. Admission across BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad is based entirely on BITSAT scores.
How to Apply
The application process is fully online. Candidates must register on the official website using a valid email ID and mobile number, fill in personal and academic details, upload a photograph and signature, pay the application fee, and submit the form. Saving a copy of the confirmation page is strongly recommended for future reference.
Application Fee — Session 2
For new applicants, the fee is ₹3,600 for male candidates and ₹3,100 for female and transgender candidates. Those already registered for Session 1 pay a reduced fee — ₹2,000 for male and ₹1,500 for female and transgender candidates. Candidates opting for the Dubai exam centre must pay ₹7,250.
Why This Extension Matters
BITS Pilani consistently ranks among India's top private engineering institutions. For students targeting B.E. programmes at any of its three campuses, BITSAT is the only route to admission. Missing this registration window would mean waiting an entire year. With no penalty for late registration, there is no reason to delay.
Candidates are advised to complete their applications well before May 5 to avoid last-minute technical issues.
