The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially announced the Round 1 seat allotment results for NEET UG 2025 on its website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. This is a significant moment for thousands of medical aspirants who have been eagerly awaiting the results for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 85% state quota. As per the allotment list, Government Medical College Bettiah and Patna Medical College (PMC) have emerged as the most sought-after colleges, reflecting their high demand among top-ranking candidates.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat can now download their provisional allotment order and must prepare for the next crucial step. The official schedule for document verification and admission is set for a limited window, from August 26 to August 28. Aspirants must complete this process within these dates to secure their seat, otherwise, the allotment will be considered forfeited.

Important Details for Aspirants

Candidates must carry all their original documents and a set of self-attested photocopies to the allotted college for verification. Some of the key documents required include the NEET UG 2025 Admit Card and Scorecard, a provisional allotment order, academic mark sheets and certificates from Class 10 and 12, domicile certificate, and other relevant documents as specified in the official prospectus.

Regarding the fee structure, it's essential for aspirants to understand the distinction between government and private colleges. While government medical colleges in Bihar have relatively low annual fees (ranging from ₹6,000 to ₹70,000), private medical colleges have a much higher fee structure. The total course fee for private MBBS seats can vary significantly, with annual tuition fees typically ranging from ₹8.21 lakh to ₹16 lakh. The total amount of ₹69-95 lakh mentioned is likely the cumulative course fee, including tuition, hostel, and other charges, for private medical colleges, not government ones. Aspirants should also be aware that as per a recent government notice, 50% of seats in private medical colleges will have fees on par with government colleges, which is a major relief for many.
