The final stage of the online registration process for the combined entrance exam for the Bachelor of Education program in Bihar, known as CET-B.Ed 2026, is now happening. Candidates who missed the regular deadline of May 18, 2026, can still sign up until May 21, 2026, but they need to pay a late fee when they register. The registration website is biharcetbed-brabu.in. The entrance exam is set for Sunday, June 7, 2026. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University in Muzaffarpur is the main organizing university for CET-B.Ed 2026. This exam will be used to select students for the 2-year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri programs at the 14 participating universities in Bihar.

The payment for the Bihar CET-B.Ed 2026 application form can be done online using methods such as Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Candidates applying between 19th and 21st May 2026 will need to pay an additional fee along with the regular application fee, depending on their category.
Eligibility Criteria
For the two-year B.Ed course, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree under the 10+2+3 pattern or a Master’s degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech degree in Science or Mathematics must have at least 55% marks. For the Shiksha Shastri course, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with Sanskrit as a compulsory subject, achieving a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and other reserved categories will receive a 5% relaxation in the qualifying percentage.
Exam Pattern
The CET-B.Ed 2026 will be held in a single-paper format using an OMR sheet.The exam will be conducted in an offline mode only. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes or 2 hours. It will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 120 marks.
There will be no negative marking. The exam will have different sections including General English Comprehension, General Hindi, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Teaching-Learning Environment in Schools. When applying for the exam, candidates can select their preferred three exam centers.

The Bihar B.Ed CET is one of the largest state-level entrance exams in Bihar in terms of the number of participants. The responsibility of organizing the exam is usually shared alternately between Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, and Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga.
