As per the official schedule, the MAT 2025 CBT is conducted

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is conducting the MAT 2025 Computer Based Test (CBT) today, December 20, 2025. As a national-level gateway to over 600 management institutes, this session is crucial for MBA aspirants aiming for the 2026 academic cycle. Candidates are appearing for the test in a proctored digital environment across 45 cities. Success in this 120-minute exam depends not only on preparation but also on strict adherence to the official protocol.

Mandatory Exam Day Checklist and Timings

To ensure a smooth entry at the designated test centers, candidates must be aware of the strict reporting schedules and documentation requirements. Security personnel will verify identities before allowing access to the computer terminals.

• Reporting Time: Candidates must reach the center at least 90 minutes before the test starts as mentioned on the admit card.
• Essential Documents: It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the MAT admit card along with an original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport).
• Gate Closing: The entry gates will strictly close 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam; no late entries are permitted.
• Stationery: While it is a CBT, a blue or black ballpoint pen is required for signing the attendance sheet and rough work.

Prohibited Items and Code of Conduct

AIMA maintains high levels of integrity during the CBT. Aspirants are advised to leave personal belongings outside as centers do not typically provide storage facilities.

• Electronic Gadgets: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited inside the hall.
• Personal Items: Bags, wallets, books, and notebooks are not allowed; rough sheets will be provided by the invigilator.
• Dress Code: Wear simple, comfortable clothing; avoid heavy jewelry, large buttons, or shoes with very thick soles to speed up security frisking.
• Rough Work: All rough sheets must be returned to the invigilator before leaving the test lab.

Conclusion and Post-Exam Process

With the conclusion of the CBT, the focus will shift toward the evaluation phase. The MAT result is typically declared within 15 to 20 days on the official AIMA portal. Once the scores are out, candidates can begin applying to their preferred B-schools based on the cut-offs. Aspirants should proactively monitor the official AIMA website to track the release of the scorecard and subsequent counseling notifications.
