AP ICET Counselling 2026 LIVE: Phase 2 Schedule Awaited; Phase 1 Seat Allotment Already Out at cap.apcfss.in

AP ICET Counselling Dates 2026 LIVE Updates: Good news for MBA and MCA aspirants in Andhra Pradesh — Phase 1 of the AP ICET 2026 counselling is already behind us, and now all eyes are on Phase 2. If you're one of the candidates still waiting for your seat, or someone who missed the first round, here's what you need to know.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) ran Phase 1 registration and certificate verification from July 10 to July 20, 2026, with web options entry open from July 15 to July 25. The Phase 1 seat allotment results landed between July 25 and July 28, 2026, and a lot of students have already secured their seats. But if you're still in the running, Phase 2 registration is expected to open in the last week of August 2026 on the official portal, cap.apcfss.in. There's also likely to be a final round in September to mop up any seats still left vacant. Keep this page bookmarked — we'll be updating it as soon as APSCHE makes an announcement.

AP ICET Counselling 2026: Quick Overview

How the Counselling Actually Works

If you haven't been through this before, here's a simple breakdown of what to expect:

• Register and pay the fee: Head to the portal, fill in your details, and pay the non-refundable fee using a card, UPI, or net banking.
• Get your documents verified: Most of this happens online now, but if you fall under a special category — NCC, CAP, Sports, or PH — you'll need to visit a Help Line Centre (HLC) in person.
• Fill in your web options: This is the part where you list out and rank the colleges and courses you'd actually like to get into. Take your time here — it matters.
• Double-check before you freeze: You can go back and tweak your choices right up until the freezing deadline, so don't rush.
• Wait for your allotment: Seats are handed out based on your rank, category, local-area status, and the options you picked.
• Report and confirm: Once you're allotted a seat, you'll need to self-report online and then show up in person at the college with your original documents to lock it in.

That's it — stick to the timeline and you should be fine.

Still Waiting on Phase 2? Here's the Latest
As of now, APSCHE hasn't dropped the official Phase 2 notification yet. If you missed out on Phase 1 or didn't manage to bag a seat, don't worry — Phase 2 exists exactly for candidates like you. Just keep an eye on cap.apcfss.in for the registration window to open.

A Quick Recap of Phase 1
For those catching up, the Phase 1 seat allotment came out in the last week of July, decided by candidates' ICET rank, category, local-area status, and the web options they'd submitted.

What You'll Need for Seat Allotment

• Your AP ICET Hall Ticket and Rank Card
• The rank-wise AP ICET Colleges List 2026
• Category, residence, and academic certificates, ready for verification

Got a Seat? Don't Forget This Step
Allotment isn't the finish line — you still need to complete self-reporting online and then physically report to your allotted college within the given window. Miss this, and you could lose the seat.

How Will Phase 2 Seats Be Allotted?

Same logic as Phase 1 — your ICET rank, paired with the college and course preferences you enter during web options, along with your category and local-area status, will decide where you land.
