AP ICET 2nd Counselling 2026: Self-Joining and College Reporting Till September 30

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the AP ICET 2026 second phase seat allotment for MBA and MCA admissions. Allotted candidates must complete self-joining and report to their allotted college between September 28 and September 30, 2026, and pay the admission fee mentioned on the allotment letter.

This second phase is also referred to as Phase 2 or the final phase of AP ICET counselling.

How to Complete Self-Joining and Reporting

1. Log in to the AP ICET counselling portal with your hall ticket number and date of birth, and download your allotment letter.
2. Accept the allotted seat online (self-joining) and generate the acknowledgement slip.
3. Pay the admission fee as stated on the allotment letter.
4. Report physically to the allotted college for document verification by September 30, carrying originals and self-attested photocopies (reports mention two to three sets).

Online self-reporting alone is not enough. Reports say candidates must also report physically at the college, and that missing either step within the dates can cancel the allotment [VERIFY against the official notification].

Exam and academic documents

• AP ICET 2026 rank card and hall ticket
• SSC or equivalent marks memo
• Intermediate, Diploma or equivalent marks memo
• Bridge course certificate (for intermediate vocational candidates)
• Degree consolidated marks memo
• Degree OD or provisional certificate
• Study certificates from 9th class to Degree (3-year degree) or from 10th class to Degree (4-year degree)
• Transfer Certificate (TC) of the latest study

Category and reservation

• Integrated Community Certificate for BC, SC or ST candidates, issued by the competent authority (an OBC certificate is not accepted)
• Minority certificate, if applicable
• EWS certificate, if claiming EWS reservation. Reports say it must be valid for 2026-27 [VERIFY].

Residence

• Andhra Pradesh residence certificate for the preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination, for privately studied candidates, issued by a competent authority.
• For non-local candidates: an AP residence certificate of either parent for 10 years (excluding employment outside AP) from the Tahsildar. Alternatively, candidates whose parents were employed by the State or Central Government, a public sector corporation, local bodies, universities or similar quasi-public institutions in Andhra Pradesh when the candidate applied for AP ICET 2026.

Income

• Income certificate of parents. Reports say it is needed for candidates claiming fee reimbursement [VERIFY].

Seat Position

A total of 46,620 MBA and MCA seats were available across the state. According to counselling sources, 7,696 seats, about 16.5 per cent, have been filled. The source doesn't say which round this figure covers, and other outlets report different totals [VERIFY].

What Happens After the Final Phase

Reports describe this as the final web-based round. APSCHE has not announced another round [VERIFY]. The source says seats that stay vacant after the final allotment are transferred for filling through the management quota. In 2024, after the second and final phase, colleges were asked to report vacancies to APSCHE, which said it would announce additional rounds.
