AP EAMCET 2026 Round 3: Web Options Entry Closes Today, Seat Allotment on September 16

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is conducting the final round — Round 3 — of AP EAMCET 2026 engineering counselling. Web options entry, where candidates rank their preferred colleges and courses, closes on September 12, 2026. Candidates get one further day, September 13, to modify their submitted choices, and the seat allotment result is scheduled for September 16, 2026.

Round 3 registration — online certificate verification and fee payment — ran from September 9 to 11, 2026, and closed as scheduled. Verification of uploaded certificates at Help Line Centres (HLCs), along with option entry itself, has been running from September 9 to 12.

How to Fill AP EAMCET Web Options 2026

1. Go to the official APSCHE counselling website, cap.apcfss.in, and log in using your hall ticket number and date of birth.
2. Complete candidate registration and pay the processing fee, if not already done.
3. Open the web options entry portal to view the list of available colleges and courses.
4. Select and arrange your choices in order of preference.
5. Save your selections, and freeze your options before the deadline to lock them in for seat allotment.

What to Keep in Mind Before Submitting Choices

• Only use the official, state-authorised portals — aptonline.in or cap.apcfss.in — to submit choices; avoid third-party sites.
• Save your entries as you go rather than filling everything in one sitting close to the deadline, to reduce the risk of losing data if the system is under heavy load near the closing time.
• Avoid logging into the web options page from multiple devices at the same time, as this can trigger session lockouts.
• Your dashboard should show an approved certificate-verification status before you finalise your college choices; candidates with a pending or rejected document should resolve it and re-upload before the deadline.
• A modification window opens on September 13, 2026, giving candidates one more chance to correct mistakes made during initial option entry — but note that once options are frozen ahead of allotment, further changes may not be possible.

Eligibility for AP EAMCET Counselling

Candidates who have qualified in the AP EAMCET 2026 examination are eligible to participate in counselling. General-category candidates are required to have cleared Class 12 or an equivalent qualification with 45% marks in the relevant group subjects; reserved-category candidates need 40% marks in the same group subjects.

How to Check the AP EAMCET Seat Allotment Result

1. Open the official AP EAMCET counselling website.
2. Click on the seat allotment link once it is active.
3. Log in using your application number, hall ticket number, date of birth and password.
4. Your allotted seat, if any, will be displayed.

Seats are allotted after every round of counselling, so a candidate's status can change between Round 2 and Round 3 depending on the choices submitted.

Reporting After Seat Allotment

Candidates allotted a seat must complete self-reporting and reporting at the college between September 16 and 19, 2026. Candidates should generally aim to reach the counselling or reporting venue well ahead of the scheduled time to allow for document verification. If a candidate does not report at the allotted institution within the window, the seat allotted to them is liable to be cancelled, and no further claim on that seat is entertained after the final reporting date.
