The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, has set the stage for the highly anticipated All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026, officially announcing the key dates that will guide thousands of law aspirants in their preparation. The AILET 2026 examination, a crucial step for admission to NLU Delhi's prestigious B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programs, is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

For students aiming to secure a seat at one of the country's top law universities, the next few months are critical. The application process for AILET 2026 is already underway, having commenced on August 7, 2025. Aspirants must complete their applications by the deadline of November 10, 2025, to be eligible for the exam. The admit cards are expected to be available for download from November 30, 2025.

The exam will be conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper mode and will feature 150 multiple-choice questions across three sections: English Language, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. With a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer, aspirants are advised to practice meticulously. Experts and previous toppers alike emphasize the immense value of consistent mock test practice to improve speed, accuracy, and time management skills. Simulating the exam environment is key to identifying strengths and weaknesses before the final test day.

With the official dates now public, aspirants have a clear timeline to structure their study plans. A focused approach on core subjects, daily current affairs updates, and regular mock tests will significantly boost their chances of success.
