The reporting window for AIIMS INI CET 2025 Round 1 counseling concludes on December 24. Aspirants must complete online seat acceptance and physical document verification at their allotted institutes. This guide covers the essential documents required, the reporting process, and the timeline for final admission. Ensure all original certificates are ready to secure your postgraduate seat in premier medical institutes like AIIMS, JIPMER, and PGIMER.

The AIIMS INI CET 2025 November session (January 2026 intake) has reached a critical juncture. Following the Round 1 seat allotment result declared on December 18, the window for online seat acceptance and physical reporting is rapidly closing. For thousands of medical aspirants, the period between December 19 and December 24, 2025, represents the final hurdle in securing a postgraduate seat at India’s most prestigious medical institutions.

Mandatory Reporting and Acceptance Procedures

Candidates who have been allotted seats must act before the December 24 deadline (5:00 PM) to avoid forfeiture of their allocation. The process involves two primary choices on the official portal:

  • Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and declare that you do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allocation.
  • Option 2: Accept the allotted seat and indicate your desire to participate in Round 2 for potential upgradation.
  • Failure to select an option or report to the allotted institute will result in the cancellation of the current seat and may bar candidates from subsequent rounds.

Critical Timeline for Round 1 Counseling

To ensure a smooth transition, aspirants should adhere to the following schedule provided by AIIMS, New Delhi:

Event DescriptionImportant Dates (Nov Session)
Announcement of Round 1 AllotmentDecember 18, 2025
Online Seat Acceptance PeriodDecember 19 – 24, 2025
Physical Reporting & Document SubmissionDecember 19 – 24, 2025
Final Document Verification DeadlineDecember 24, 2025 (Till 5 PM)
Round 2 Allotment ResultJanuary 9, 2026

Essential Documentation for Physical Verification

Physical reporting requires the submission of original documents. Any discrepancy during this stage can lead to immediate disqualification.

  • Offer Letter & Allotment Letter: Downloaded from the AIIMS portal after seat acceptance.
  • Academic Credentials: MBBS/BDS degree certificate and all professional mark sheets.
  • Registration & Internship: Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by NMC/DCI and the Internship Completion Certificate (dated on or before Jan 31, 2026).
  • Identity & Category Proofs: Admit card, rank card, valid government ID, and relevant category certificates (OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD) in the prescribed format.

Conclusion

As the December 24 deadline approaches, aspirants must ensure that their physical presence at the allotted institute is recorded along with the successful verification of all original certificates. This phase is not merely a formality but a legal requirement to solidify your admission for the January 2026 session. If you are opting for an upgrade, remember that you must still complete the Round 1 formalities to remain eligible.
