AIEED 2026 Multi-Stage Screening Timeline

The AIEED selection process is structured into multiple stages that rigorously evaluate a candidate's creative potential, problem-solving skills, and clarity of thought. The current phase involves the initial online assessments and interactions.

Preparation and Assessment Breakdown

The comprehensive screening aims for a holistic assessment of a design aspirant. Preparation should be focused on all key components to maximize the chance of success.

• Creative Aptitude Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT): These are the online written components, testing general awareness, logical reasoning, and design thinking. Regular practice with sample papers is vital here.
• Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) & Statement of Purpose (SoP): These document submissions are key to showcasing your existing body of work, creative range, and the personal thought process behind your decision to pursue design.
• Situation Test & Group Discussion (GD): The final, on-campus phase assesses real-time creative problem-solving and collaboration. Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to articulate ideas and work effectively in a team environment.

This comprehensive approach by ARCH College ensures that only the most dedicated and creatively promising individuals are selected for its acclaimed B.Des and M.Des programs. The early application window provides a crucial time advantage for preparation.

In conclusion, the opening of the AIEED 2026 applications marks the beginning of a transformative journey for future designers.
