If you’re planning to appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 21, 2026, today is your final chance to apply. The Bar Council of India will close the registration window tonight at 11:59 PM (April 30, 2026), so if you haven’t filled the form yet, this is the moment to act.

AIBE is an important step for every law graduate who wants to start practicing in Indian courts. Once you clear the exam, you receive the Certificate of Practice (CoP), which officially allows you to work as an advocate.

Why This Exam Matters

For many law graduates, AIBE is not just another exam—it’s the final step before entering the legal profession. Without clearing it, you cannot practice law in India. So, if you’ve completed your LLB or are in your final year, this exam is essential for your career.

Exam Date & Pattern

The AIBE 21 exam is scheduled for June 7, 2026 and will be held in offline mode (pen-and-paper).
The pattern is simple and student-friendly:

  • 100 multiple-choice questions
  • 3 hours duration
  • No negative marking

This means you can attempt all questions without worrying about losing marks.

Who Can Apply?

  • Candidates with a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree
  • Final-year students (as long as they don’t have backlogs)
  • Those enrolled with a State Bar Council (or submitting an undertaking)

Application Fees

  • General/OBC/EWS/Women: ₹3,500
  • SC/ST: ₹2,500

The payment has to be done online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Quick Steps to Apply

  • Go to the official website: allindiabarexamination.com
  • Click on AIBE XXI Registration
  • Register with your basic details
  • Fill in your academic and personal information
  • Upload documents and pay the fee
  • Submit the form and save a copy

Documents You’ll Need

Keep these ready before you start:

  • Passport-size photo and signature
  • LLB marksheets or degree
  • Enrollment certificate
  • Valid ID proof
  • Category/disability certificate (if applicable)

Final Reminder

With just a few hours left, it’s better not to wait. Technical issues or last-minute rush can create problems. Fill the form carefully, double-check your details, and submit it on time.

If becoming a practicing lawyer is your goal, this is one step you shouldn’t miss.
