This is an urgent notification for all postgraduate AYUSH aspirants! The deadline to complete the critical Choice Filling and Locking process for the AIAPGET Counselling 2025 Round 2 is today, October 6, 2025. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will close the portal shortly, and candidates who have already registered must finalize their choices for MD/MS seats in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy (ASU&H) programs.
Critical Deadlines Today
Candidates who successfully registered for AIAPGET Counselling Round 2 must take immediate action to complete these two mandatory steps:
| Activity | Deadline Today (October 6, 2025) |
|---|---|
| Registration and Payment | Closes at 3:00 PM (Payment closes at 5:00 PM) |
| Choice Filling and Locking | Closes Today |
Candidates are strongly advised to complete the choice locking process well before the closing time to prevent any technical issues, such as poor internet connectivity or server delays, from jeopardizing their chance at securing a seat in AYUSH PG courses. Once the window closes, no requests for changes or unlocking of choices will be entertained.
Why Choice Locking is Crucial
The choices filled and locked today will be the sole basis for the AIAPGET Counselling seat allotment result, which is scheduled for publication on October 9, 2025.
- Priority is Key: Aspirants should have already meticulously ranked their preferred AYUSH PG courses and institutions. The allotment system will match the candidate's All India Rank (AIR) with the availability of seats based on this final locked order of preference.
- Automatic Locking: While the system often automatically locks choices after the deadline, relying on this is risky. Candidates must manually review, verify, and formally lock their choices to ensure they are recorded correctly by the AACCC portal.
Next Steps After Today
Once the choice filling window closes today, the AACCC will proceed with seat allotment processing.
- Result Date: The Round 2 allotment result will be published on October 9, 2025.
- Reporting: Candidates who are successfully allotted a seat must report to their respective institutions between November 14 and November 18, 2025, to complete the admission formalities.
This round is the last chance for many to secure a seat under the All India Quota before the Mop-Up round.
