AIAPGET 2024 counselling dates have been announced, with the process set to commence in September 2024. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will oversee the counselling for the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET), which is essential for admission into MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.

Key Dates for AIAPGET 2024 Counselling

  • Registration & Payment: September 10 to 16, 2024
  • Choice Filling/Locking: September 17 to 20, 2024
  • Processing of Seat Allotment: September 21 to 23, 2024
  • First Round Seat Allotment Result: September 24, 2024
  • Reporting at Allotted Colleges: September 25 to 30, 2024

The counselling process will consist of multiple rounds, including a mop-up round, ensuring that all available seats are filled. Candidates must register online at the AACCC's official website and fill in their preferences for colleges and courses based on their AIAPGET scores.

Counselling Procedure

  1. Registration: Candidates must register on the AACCC portal and pay a non-refundable registration fee, which varies based on the type of institution (e.g., AIQG, deemed universities).
  2. Choice Filling: After registration, candidates will log in to select their preferred courses and colleges. It is crucial to review these choices before final submission, as changes are not permitted post-submission.
  3. Seat Allotment: The allotment of seats will be based on the candidates' preferences, AIAPGET rank, and seat availability.
  4. Reporting: Candidates must report to their allotted institutions with necessary documents for verification. Required documents include the AIAPGET result, admit card, graduation certificates, and identity proof.

Important Notes

  • Candidates must qualify the AIAPGET exam with the minimum cut-off to be eligible for counselling. The cut-off for the general category is 50%, while it is 40% for SC/ST candidates.
  • The counselling will be conducted entirely online, and candidates are advised to keep their results and documents ready for a smooth admission process.

For further updates and detailed information, candidates should regularly check the official AACCC website at aaccc.gov.in.
