Who Is Eligible to Sit for the AAU CET 2026?
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Agriculture (PCAg). General, OBC, and UPS category applicants need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. SC, ST, and DAC category candidates need a minimum of 40% aggregate marks. Applicants must have a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam. However, this condition is relaxed for those applying under the Higher Fee Category or NRI quota seats.
What Is the Pattern of the AAU CET 2026 Exam?
The entrance exam consists of 160 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 2 hours. The questions are evenly distributed across four subjects based on the syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council.
