How Is the Final Rank Calculated?
The final composite score is not only based on the entrance exam. NCERT uses a weighted formula when calculating the final rank. The RIE CEE score makes up 60 percent of the final calculation. The marks from the qualifying examination, typically Class 12, contribute 40 percent. This composite score determines the merit list for counselling.
