The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released the Telangana NEET UG 2026 Round 1 provisional merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota. Candidates who completed the registration and document-upload process can now check their state merit rank on the official website, knruhs.telangana.gov.in.

The provisional merit list has been released for admissions to the academic year 2026-27. Candidates included in the list can verify their details and raise objections if they find any discrepancy. The deadline to submit objections is August 26, 2026.

Telangana NEET UG 2026 Special Category Lists

Along with the main provisional merit list, KNRUHS has released separate provisional lists for candidates belonging to certain special categories. These lists have been prepared following verification by the respective departments and competent authorities.

The special category lists include NCC (National Cadet Corps), CAP (Children of Armed Personnel), PMC candidates verified by the PwD medical board, SCCL (Singareni Collieries) candidates for MBBS admissions and Anglo-Indian candidates for BDS admissions.

Candidates can follow the steps below to check their provisional state merit rank:

  1. Visit the official KNRUHS website at knruhs.telangana.gov.in.
  2. Go to the notifications section on the homepage.
  3. Find and open the link for the MBBS and BDS provisional merit list for 2026-27.
  4. Download the merit list PDF.
  5. Search for the NEET roll number in the PDF.
  6. Check the state merit rank, category, local area status and other details.
  7. Save or download the merit list for future reference.

How to Raise Objections Against Telangana NEET UG Merit List?

Candidates who identify an error in their merit list details should submit their grievance through the official KNRUHS candidate portal before the deadline.

Candidates should log in using their registered credentials, access the grievance section and select the field where the discrepancy has been identified. They should upload valid supporting documents demonstrating the correct information and submit the objection. Candidates should also download or retain the acknowledgement receipt after submitting the grievance.

Objections submitted after August 26, 2026, will not be entertained. KNRUHS will examine the valid grievances before releasing the final merit list.

What After Telangana NEET UG 2026 Provisional Merit List?
