he Maharashtra Cell of State Common Entrance Test (CET) revealed that attendance of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) CET opening day was 89.5%

Turnout in MBA/MMS CET EXAM

The Maharashtra Cell of State Common Entrance Test (CET) revealed that attendance of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) CET opening day was 89.5%

Over 1.8 lakh students have registered for the MBA/MMS CET exam. On the opening day 47079 appeared for the examination out of 52612 who were registered for April 6. The morning session saw a turnout of 88.6%, while the afternoon session saw a turnout of 90.4%

The examination is being conducted in three phases – April 6, 7, 8. It'll help in management studies of Maharashtra and show high impact of the CET cell in higher education of Maharashtra.

Inclusivity in candidates

Data provided by the CET cell also shows a great amount of inclusivity in candidates who have registered for the examination. Eight transgender candidates registered, 482 are orphan candidates; and 487 candidates are persons with disabilities (PwD).

MBA/MMS Comparison with other management exams

managementThe number of students who have registered for this examination shows the sanctity of the CET cell. The number has peaked as compared to the last few years. There has never been a decline in the number of students who have registered for this examination. Although we can see a little bit of decline in candidates who appear for Management exams like CAT and XAT for few years, this has not been the case in MHT CET MBA/MMS.
