Question 1

How is the college of ANITS in Visakhapatnam?

Accepted Answer

The college ANITS is recognized as one of the prestigious engineering colleges affiliated with Andhra University and approved by AICTE. Some of these courses are accredited by the NBA. The college offers a variety of undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses, along with modern facilities such as labs, libraries, and classrooms. A well-planned placement cell is very active in procuring top companies for the students. The college is reputed to have stunning statistics in place and promotes such extra activities as tech fests, culture, and sports. ANITS is situated in the industrial hub location of Visakhapatnam, which opens vast exposure and opportunities to students and earns a very strong academic reputation in the region.

Question 2

Which is better, GVPCE or ANITS?

Accepted Answer

Choosing between GVPCE (Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology) and ANITS (Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences) depends on your personal goals, the branch you’re interested in, and what you’re looking for in a college. GVPCE has a solid reputation, offers good placements, has good alumni links, has modern infrastructure, and a wide-ranging curriculum. ANITS nevertheless seems to be a good college, because most of the time it is known for a very pragmatic approach towards engineering education, fair placement opportunities, and it's for good campus infrastructures. One of the most important factors would be to weigh the strengths and weaknesses of the respective colleges regarding the specific program of interest, campus climate, location, and the whole experience of students. Contacting current students or alumni would give one an idea of which institution would fit you the best.

Question 3

Is there any difference in placement support for management quota students at ANITS?

Accepted Answer

No, placement assistance at ANITS is equal to all, irrespective of whether students got admitted through the EAPCET counseling route or the Management/NRI quota. After admission, all students receive the same CRT training programs, the same mock interviews, the same placements preparatory material, and the same opportunities. The selection itself is strictly merit-based, solely depending on the student’s performance on the day of the interviews and aptitude tests, and it has nothing to do with the route of admission.

Question 4

What are the main entrance exams accepted for admission?

Accepted Answer

ANITS strictly follows merit-based admissions. For B.Tech, the primary exam is AP EAPCET (Category A). They also accept JEE Main and SAT for specific quotas. For PG, GATE/AP PGECET (M.Tech) and AP ICET (MBA) are required.

Question 5

What is the average placement package at ANITS?

Accepted Answer

For the 2024-25 batch, the average package is approximately ₹5.54 LPA, while the median package stands at ₹4.50 LPA. The highest package recorded in recent years reached ₹48 LPA, with top recruiters being Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Accenture.
