Question 1

How do I get admission to AKGEC Ghaziabad after Class 12 without a high JEE Main rank?

Accepted Answer

AKGEC offers management quota seats. These seats don’t strictly follow the JEE Main cutoff, but you still need at least 65% in Class 12 with PCM. You’ll need to contact the admission cell directly (usually in July) and might have to attend a short interview or fill out an internal form. Many students use this route if they didn’t score well in JEE Main but still want a reputed private college with good placements.

Question 2

Is the placement really good at AKGEC Ghaziabad or just average?

Accepted Answer

Placements at AKGEC are above average, especially if you’re in CSE, IT, or ECE. In 2024, more than 1,000 students were placed, and some even got offers from Amazon, TCS, and Deloitte. The average package was INR 5.5 LPA, and a few top students grabbed INR 20–30 LPA jobs (mainly off-campus or coding-based roles). The college also gives pre-placement training, hackathons, and internship support, which actually helps. If you’re willing to work on your coding and communication skills, you’ll have solid chances of getting placed.

Question 3

What is the actual student life like at AKGEC Ghaziabad?

Accepted Answer

Student life at AKGEC is a mix of serious academics and active club culture. Classes and labs are regular, but there’s also enough time for events. You can join clubs like Technocratz (coding), Robonica (robotics), Kalakriti (arts), or Dramatics, and participate in the annual fest “Verve.” The campus is clean and disciplined, and the hostels are decent with proper mess food. Since it’s close to Noida, you also get access to tech workshops and industrial visits. Overall, it's a balanced and growth-oriented environment.
